The steel is better than that normally sold in supermarkets or cheaper sets. The knives have not needed sharpening yet (+-1 year of use), but will need it in a few months.
Sharpness is not lost quickly.
Thanks to the rubberised surface, the knives do not slip. The rubber doesn't peel off anywhere.
Two knives came with slightly cut and unsharpened handles (rep metal end). The condition does not deteriorate over time, it is not visible at first glance and it does not hinder function or quality. In any case, it is a mistake that the manufacturer should avoid by proper control.

A little cut fingers but awkward flesh must go
It is not written anywhere whether they can be washed in the dishwasher. The rubber on the handle is of such a material that it is not quite clear.
