I have no idea what the cable insulation is made of - it is very stiff and makes the cable poorly flexible even at temperatures around 20°. It softens only when heated to 100°.
I cut off the connectors and made my own extension from ordinary electro cable, which is flexible even at room temperature.
interestingly, the cable that comes with the charger behaves normally.
