Bought for retired parents - this phone is perfect for that: Buttons, display quite large, legible, with good contrast and strong backlight. Just the right size and weight to fit handily in any pocket, but not too tiny for an older hand. The built-in flashlight is quite powerful and has its own switch. But why does making a phone call require so much clicking in the menu? Why is it not enough to enter a number and confirm? Why do I have to select "audio call" in the "call" submenu after entering the number? There is no other option than audio call in that menu, so why is it there at all? The UI generally looks to me like the manufacturer borrowed it from a 20-year-old Nokia and instead of adapting it to the features available on the phone, simply hid some options. The manual is minimalistic and covers basically only the first start-up process. "open the back cover" - How? Is it sliding, is it snap-on, is it bolt-on? Everyone has to figure that out for themselves. Inserting the SIM and battery was easy even without the manual, and starting the phone was easy too, but that's where the manual ends - it doesn't walk you through more detailed settings and features. Not that the phone has many of them (e.g. absolutely no option to set an alarm - even if only for one time and without repeating. The Nokia 5110 had this feature 27 years ago, so why isn't it here? ), but this way the phone went from hand to hand between four people, each time with the words "That's impossible, the alarm clock must be there somewhere, you just can't look, let me see. "
