I have its predecessor the King Kong mini 2 and would be satisfied, but it makes constant problems. Once in a while it starts to switch off spontaneously and only turns on when added to the charger (like a flashlight). It needs to be put into factory settings to make it do what it's supposed to do again (and then again in a few months). I took a chance and I'm trying King Kong mini 3 now, so far I give it full marks, but we'll see what happens in 1-2 years.
I just couldn't find a smaller Android phone.
So far so good, everything works as it should.
Facial recognition during unlocking works better than I would have expected. Of course, I don't consider it safe.
The screen could be shorter and maybe wider. The one-handed control is just barely upright and I can reach the top of the phone with difficulty.

10 years with BB Q10. switching to anything else is a tragedy. However, the choices are either so small, the selection sparse, or Iphone mini 12/13. I wanted a notifi diode and a flashlight for more than a day. Ears scratched, done. The display is really narrow, typing with hardw qwertz can never compare. Display in sunlight weak, automatic brightness impractical. OS fast without ballast, battery so 2 days ok. I think of it as a phone for a few years, hopefully one with qwertz will come out.

I'm thrilled they have caught the bugs of the previous KKmini2 model I had so I have direct experience and comparison.
For my purposes, the KKmini is generally an ideal device. The bar shape as mentioned here is great, it makes it easy to hold and great to read books from. The only thing that falls victim to the shape is the accuracy of typing on the keyboard.
I've been pulling the second one around construction sites for 2 years with absolutely no problems, though of course one is willing to forgive the occasional jam or slower running. I mention this because these are the exact parameters that have improved significantly.

I just tried briefly, for me unacceptable small width of the display (44mm)
looks well crafted, nimble, well equipped
plays music loudly (from the front speaker)
still small in size, but rather than in height it should grow in width (by a few millimetres)
NFC present (I haven't tried the feature)
1 A LED flash (significantly better than 0.5 A) on previous rugged models
Narrower display than previous models (King kong mini 2), only 44 mm instead of 46 mm. This is no longer acceptable to me and a reason to return.
It's kind of a "stick".
The charging cover was harder to open than the previous Mini
no longer has room for an extra SD card when there are 2 SIMs (2 SIMs or 1 SIM and SD card),
20 MP is realistically only slightly better than 13 MP
