I've been using it for a few weeks now. Even when the holder is empty, it doesn't make any noise while driving. The worse part was the assembly, centering the bracket between the headrest posts and tightening the screws was quite difficult, but after a while it was done and as long as you don't keep taking the bracket off/off, it won't matter.
