The big advantage is the self removing cap. The boil-off works reliably. It's worth paying extra for stainless steel. I bought the kettle unpacked, 300 off. The previous cheaper kettle didn't shut off when the lid didn't snap on perfectly. I had to repeatedly descale the plastic mechanism with vinegar.

this is our second kettle of this type, the first one we bought from Delonghi about 13 years ago and now it was really tired after daily use, here and there something scratched and broken (the end of the water meter), so we started looking for the same one, because we were extremely satisfied with it, and surprisingly found, we were surprised how many kettles of similar if not the same type, just different in color and style Delonghi offers. in the end this one won, it's a lot lighter than our original dark blue, but otherwise it's the same quality, beautiful. hopefully it will last us a long time again

the kettle sits easily on the base, no need to hit the exact millimetre as with most kettles
retrodesign
good handle shape, the kettle is easy to hold and the matt plastic is fingerprint-free
the maximum water level indicator is also inside, so there is no need to look at the external scale when pouring water
the kettle is not too noisy when heating
the heating light is subtle, it does not disturb with its light
the base is too light and the diameter is unnecessarily large
the stainless steel lid shows spots (dots) after the first use, it could have been coloured too
the kettle is too big, it is a pity that it is not produced with a volume of 1.5 liters
if someone chose this kettle because of the fact that the water does not come into contact with plastic, they will be disappointed - the outer measuring cup is made of plexiglass
the water level on the outer measuring cup is hard to see, the measuring cup is dull and too light
