First days after the purchase i thought I will return it because with factory so called "optimal" settings the coffee was very bad, too diluted, almost without its natural espresso foam. Luckily I went to watch some videos and found our how to adjust the settings - especially the grind finesse and the water temperature. After playing around with them I'm really satisfied. The coffee won't be the same as in professional coffee makers in bars of course :) , but it's still very decent.
I would recommend to set the water temperature on max (4). You can do it by pressing the "one small coffee" button for cca 5 seconds when the machine is turned off, then click the same button until all 4 indicators will be lighting and then press the "one large coffee" button.
Another recommendation is to set the grind level somewhere between 1 and 3 by turning the wheel counterclockwise (IMPORTANT: do it only when the machine is grinding!). There can't be exact recommendation as we all use different beans and need different taste :) So try yourself on different levels and find your perfect coffee :)
P.S. the change in grind is sensible after cca 3 cups as the previous grind may remain.
good grinder
good cappuccino maker
very adjustable

Regarding the number of coffees the holder can take, we use it in an office of 120 people and it lasts about 4 years (over 100,000 cups).

I can confirm, the best of the cheap automatic coffee machines / espresso makers.
More complicated manual operation for milk drinks. Cappuccino, Latte.
More complicated manual operation for milk-based coffees like Cappuccino and Latte.
