I bought the vacuum cleaner for the purpose of vacuuming ash from the pellet boiler. I cleaned for the first time without a vacuum cleaner and I breathed half of it out, so that's why. It sucks enough, it's portable, I can get where the broom can't, and most importantly, it saves time. In the drum of the vacuum cleaner there is a canvas bag around the filter with a load, so the ash does not get directly on the filter but accumulates around the bag. I have vacuumed 3 times so far and I am happy with it. I point out that I'm vacuuming the ashes without any major chunks. There is not much left of the pellets, so I can recommend it for this purpose.
