I had to return the first lock (bought from a different shop) straight away because it wouldn't pair with the app. The same lock bought from Alza paired fine. However, the initial enthusiasm about the build quality was replaced by disappointment over the unpolished FW, see cons. It is a new release for 2026, hopefully they will fine-tune it over time.
The lock is relatively quiet (it is possible to adjust noise level vs speed)
Doesn't look cheap, good mechanical design and build quality. Multiple mounting options for the door hardware.
External keyboard with a fingerprint reader included, good value for money
Rechargeable battery in the lock
Lots of settings in the app. Just a shame that not everything is fully optimised.
Overall buggy FW, the lock sometimes does whatever it wants. For example, the auto-lock function can't be turned off. The lock still randomly locks itself at intervals of 5s–10min, sometimes even when the door is open. Recalibration doesn't help. Fortunately, it has never opened itself: -)
You can't tell just by looking at the lock whether it is locked or unlocked.
The manufacturer is a Chinese company – potential safety issue
