Previous stick vacuums (Eta and Philips Power Pro Aqua) are not even close to Dyson. Just "clean up" with Eta or Philips first and then drop in the Dyson with the Fluffy Optic nozzle, because you'll see the dirt right away after the previous "cleaning" with Philips or Eta. Philips had problems with vacuuming anything heavier than dust, e.g. couscous balls. If he had already picked them up, they stayed in some fold of the spout and fell out again after turning off the machine. Just overpriced crap. The Dyson may be priced very high, but it works great!
Lots of accessories, no point in buying a basic set and then buying accessories separately (which are often unavailable separately).
It came in a surprisingly small box, but everything is carefully packed.
Switch on/off by push button, on higher model it is necessary to hold the trigger.
Super performance
A second battery is almost a necessity, it lasts 35 minutes in auto mode, 6 minutes in turbo mode.

The vacuum cleaner is great, after a week of use I can't say half a word wrong except the price which, let's face it, is quite high and we hesitated to invest in it, in the end great! Beautifully light, functional, lasts long enough for me to still run around and clean up the mess that appeared behind me after I cleaned up haha (really, a laser is a great thing but then you feel like you have to clean all the time: D). My only complaint would be that there is nowhere to put the conical brush, although it is small, either it or two smaller attachments fit into the holder, which I use more often - just throw it into the cupboard. Definitely worth the investment.
We have only had the vacuum cleaner for a week but I can still say that I am quite absorbed by its use

the Eco mode lasts a decent amount of time - it's enough to get by with, I don't want to see what I would have to have for unmaintained space to need more than "Auto mode", I hardly use that either.
Auto mode switches the power as needed, but as I write, even the eco mode is enough and it's beautifully quiet

after much deliberation I bought the vacuum cleaner and I am delighted. When I saw what he pulled out of the carpets, I was honestly horrified at the mess I was living in: -D unbelievable what this vacuum cleaner can do. The green light is great, you just vacuum until you see clean. Easy to operate and use, I just have a bit of a problem cleaning the tray, I have to reach into it and take out the dust and hair by hand, it can't be emptied
