Well, yeah, when I change something after 25 years (if my original AEG hadn't rusted, it would have lasted). So very quiet washing is a really big improvement - I don't notice the dishwasher at all (and the original one was pretty quiet). The 4 hour program seems to be the standard nowadays. And it is a fact that it washes more / better than the previous one.

There could be at least a small packet of salt in the dishwasher in addition to the tablet. Most people probably have a tablet at home, but they get all the salt from the box. We took it out of the old dishwasher..: )
