I switched to Electrolux from Samsung and, honestly, I never in my wildest dreams wanted something like this in my home. The controls on this Electrolux washing machine make no sense at all, including the remote access and the not-so-great app. For instance, I don't understand why you can't edit saved programmes; if you want to change the parameters, you have to delete the programme and create a new one. Also, the drum clean function can only be started from the app because this feature is missing from the machine's controls – which I just don't get. After switching it off, it doesn't remember the last programme used, unlike my ancient Samsung washing machine with its digital display and programme management. The washing quality is atrocious, and the rinsing result is even worse, with foam still left in the laundry. Furthermore, on certain programmes, it constantly reports that the machine is overloaded, meaning too much laundry, so you have to take out some of the wet clothes – a priceless feature (that's sarcasm). Turning on the machine is accompanied by a sound like a Tamagotchi or one of those old Vietnamese market games. Before you can even get your bearings, the machine switches itself off – a really annoying feature. On a brand-new machine, I discovered play in the drum bearings. Play in the bearings on a new product? I am truly shocked by the very poor features and quality of this Electrolux washing machine. Compared to my 13-year-old Samsung Ecobubble, this Electrolux is an ancient, prehistoric wheelbarrow. Last but not least, the review system on the Electrolux website doesn't work; it keeps throwing up errors like 'try again', and if you do manage to post a review in a different browser, Electrolux deletes it because it's negative. The support and response time from Electrolux support is at freezing point, and my last query got no reply at all. With Bosch support, the response is immediate! For God's sake, not this! I have LG, Bosch, and SAMSUNG products at home, but this Electrolux failure is a complete flop. Never again will I buy these no-name brands, because the customer doesn't get the service and quality they pay for.
