High quality plate, high quality control panel, metal frame protecting the glass part. It is more expensive but the advantages of intuitive control over +/- outweigh. The 2 hotplates have a variable size heating section - adjusting the size is very easy. The smallest hob is at the control panel - even after a long time of cooking on this hob, the control panel surface is not hot! The dimensions for insertion into the worktop are standard 56*49 cm so replacing an older worktop is a matter of minutes.
