If your computer/laptop keyboard doesn't have a backlight, it's a necessary aid in lower light conditions and is much better than a room light or desk lamp. I recommend it.

easy brightness adjustment, light colour can be changed
control directly on the rod, i.e. no more drivers to lose
the switch of the light brightness/colour control (tap) is a bit shaky and the indication is not directly visible (it is on the side). But it's not a big deal and it doesn't affect functionality.
