professional look, good construction and design
the display could have been OLED, but that's just nitpicking
the software works
no need to use a tablet and share the screen to it and waste time
once turned on, it acts as an additional screen in Windows
it just works, on/off and no problems
attached to a monitor mount with an adapter (from Allegro) and a professional tripod head (from Alza)
holds both a DSLR and a webcam
large area, so it can be used for video conferences (my primary use) in a home office studio
compared to the smaller model, it finally has a physical off button – disconnection, and the text is easy to read due to the size
I finally have some peace of mind, there probably isn't any point in looking for anything better,
integration into the Stream Deck ecosystem
the price is really waaaaay too high, it's only for semi-pros who will actually get the use out of it
side shading is not included, it is purchased separately
you need to buy extra adapters for the tripod head if you hang the prompter on a monitor mount
If you want to wrestle with Android apps to share your screen to a tablet, it is cheaper, but just as good quality a solution to buy just a prompter without a screen. But I don't have time for that and I need it to work without playing around/tweaking, which this prompter does very well.
