The description states that the button is waterproof (IP44 = splashproof). Since the box has several holes, the water will probably flow in and there are only bare unprotected components inside (the question is how much it will matter if they are not powered most of the time).
Button works surprisingly well without battery
The box has a few holes, so it won't be that amazing with the waterproofing. I just wanted a bell for outside, so I wonder how long it will last

Purchased for a senior citizen who cannot hear the normal doorbell in a prefab. This doorbell is loud enough (too loud for normal hearing, but that's a good thing). The selection of melodies is simple, the first one is loud enough and the sound is repeated several times. At the same time, when the doorbell rings, the light on the module in the socket lights up, which we don't use in our case, because we tried to put the module towards the door so that the senior wouldn't be confused by the doorbell ringing somewhere where there is no door. The advantage is fast installation. When plugged in, the bell can be rung immediately, no batteries are inserted into the bell. Included in the package is a double-sided sticker, which we stuck to the door frame. On the bell there is a place for the name under the transparent cover. The bell can be glued vertically or horizontally as one has space.

Doorbell with pleasant melody and volume settings. As a major advantage I evaluate the piezomechanism without the need for a battery (which was the downfall of our previous wire-free).
However, allow for the need to DIY additional insulation from moisture if the button will be in a rain-exposed location. Similarly, the bell in the socket takes up two slots, it is worth taking into account.
