The minute does not turn off and the display is still active. With the battery delivered, it was completely dead in 2 weeks. A new battery costs more than 50% of the price of a minute. If every battery in it lasts that short, it's really not worth it. I'm not gonna try it. I'm throwing it out and buying another one that has auto off and is on AAA, which can be easily recharged.
