Everything works as described
After unplugging it doesn't remember the last setting and by default it turns on the flicker scene and the white and rgb alternating scene, so you have to click the desired scene every time, it's annoying. It can be partially bypassed by disconnecting the cable from the adapter, but then it doesn't mate with automation via the philips hue plug.
Can't control the brightness, for an indoor tree it's very bright for my taste

It's shining nice, clear. Controller of the light programs not well thought out.
nice brightness and colours
the program controller is fine, but it doesn't remember the program after power off, so if you connect it to the timer clock, every time the chain turns on, there is a demo program. Then why is the controller there at all. Climb on the roof every day and switch it?
