Confusing is the "minimum height of 42 cm in the description" - the height from the base, through the stand, to the knuckle in the middle (including) is about 30 cm. Which is exactly what I needed.
As a Pantograph lamp it is not quite full-fledged, because the "bottom swing" is considerably reduced, almost to a minimum. Probably for stability reasons - the stand would not hold the big pack and it would tip over. In the upper part, the lamp is movable normally, completely, so the arm can be lifted up, and the lamp body can be positioned and rotated freely - e.g. let it shine horizontally, etc.
