The signal does not pass through the metal plate that divides the corridor from the apartment. The moment I move the bell off the metal plate everything works as it should I expected a bit more.

I don't understand why the outside bell is attached with a sticker. Although it's holding up on the brick post for now, I don't know what the weather will do in the future. The screws were included in the package, but probably for the internal compartments, because the bell has no screw holes
Changing the ringing tone can only be done in the bell outside, not in the base. This is highly impractical. But if one type of ringing still suits, it's not a problem. But I guess it is technically impossible to do otherwise, since the doorbell allows the connection of several devices, so that each rings differently according to your wishes?
despite the above mentioned cons, but satisfaction until the bell from the post falls off.
