I feel like it eats up the batteries terribly, I can change them in a month or two and it plays the bell about 3 times a week. It's probably catching the signal all the time, so when it's not needed, I pull the batteries right away. I mean, 3 batteries in the play area. The little flashlight in the button is ok.
