don't expect it to be exactly 40c but usually 47-50 depending on the water level. keeping the temperature only at 80c. if the water temperature is slightly below 40, and you want to heat it you can not select the program to the same temperature, it will not switch on.
nice design
inaccurate temperature readings. usually about 10 Celsius more.

I unpacked and after about 15min of trying and reading the manual, I packed and returned it. I expect the kettle to boil water in one or two presses and then turn off. I don't assume a permanent "I don't know what" indication, which after (multi-step) switching off, switches back on the next time I use it.

the base will remain flashing in stand-by mode after using the kettle. The blinking can be turned off with two more presses, but you must do so after each use. It's very annoying and I don't understand what good this indication is. I'm returning the kettle.
