This is a pretend type of " steam generator" where there is only a tank in the base and a pump that pumps water into a typical ironing head. Therefore, it is rather an alternative to the so-called gravity-fed system rather than a steam generator where the steam is already prepared and is only released through a valve (like a whistle on a locomotive). The result is a delay in the delivery of steam and the possibility of dripping.
