My mom had a 2020 Aligator A890. It lasted less than three years before it broke. Finding an alternative was hell. In the end, I decided to go with this model, which is very similar to the Alligator. It has a slightly smaller display, but otherwise it's pretty much the same, so it has a better menu and better buttons. Mum therefore had no problems with the transition to the new mobile. Probably the worst was the sound of the caller - sometimes she suddenly could hardly understand a word (cause unknown). The mobile phone was charging via a connected USB cable. However, USB 3.0 is a very unfortunate choice for a retiree due to its fragility - after 5 months (! ) has apparently destroyed the slot by careless handling. We were delighted that there was still a charging "cradle" - but it didn't work (my husband tried it too, in vain)! There was no time or energy to look for another phone, so I ordered this model again. This time the "cradle" works, so Mom will charge through it for now, but I expect it will break within a few months due to its "forum-ness". Then maybe USB charging could work for a while. So the lifetime of the phone is very low in my experience. Too bad, I would have paid twice as much for higher quality, if the mobile had lasted at least three years.

I was looking for a phone for a senior citizen, but only after I bought it did I realize, and managed to convince ours, that the best phone for seniors is. iPhone 6. It's a lot louder, both in the ear and on the speaker. Texting is much easier, thanks to the conversation display and the full keyboard - which is very easy to read on the left. Most importantly - you can get to everything much easier and more intuitively, without reading scrolling pixelated text. It also has an SOS function. And the batteries? The old six is at 83% capacity, data is off, it's been running for almost a fourth day and it's still at 38%.

Phone for a few crowns
Works as expected except for the USB-C port
I use as a backup phone that has a long battery life (many days, depending on the intensity of use)
It is well crafted and blended
It is relatively small and lightweight
If you know the old Nokia, it is used similarly
Although it has a USB-C port, it can't charge with my Apple USB-C charger I have for my laptop, so I have to use the original one, so I didn't save the cabling as I planned
Camera, magnifier and multimedia functions are not usable
It doesn't have dates, but that's what I was buying it with.
