it plays all my videos from NAS and streams from the internet without any problems, I don't have 8K videos (nor TV), but 4K is fine, that's the main criterion for me
The UI is simple and efficient, it is easy to use the remote control, the home screen is not very customizable, but you can add your own apps to it, so no problem either
the remote control is clear and ergonomic, it is quick to get used to, the buttons to control the TV are programmed by copying the signal sent by the original remote to the TV, I have not seen anything simpler elsewhere
the remote control can simulate a mouse, that's great because you can't do without this function, see cons
the controller can only control Kodi perfectly, maybe even the built-in YouTube app, but with Netflix, HBO, Horizon, etc. you can't click without a mouse (I have a keyboard with a touchpad, it's the perfect solution)
when connecting to the network via ethernet, the connection to WiFi does not work, since the connection of applications often works based on the connection to the same WiFi network, ethernet is practically unusable
the HBO GO app doesn't work over ethernet at all, it says it's offline, it only works over WiFi - whether it's the app or the device's fault is hard to say, it's more likely to be a problem with the app itself
