The device reacts to every sound and therefore absolutely loses its "effect" against barking. When the dog is in the garden and a car drives by and the device starts to emit an ultrasound = defacto "punishing the dog" who hasn't even barked. This is a completely unusable product! And yes, we have tried it on all grades and places. The dog is told to stop barking whenever someone speaks, etc. In the end, he was afraid to go into the garden, which I completely understand. At best, he learns to ignore it and "gets used" to the constant yelling in his direction. For those who think it works, check that the dog isn't just absolutely terrified of the constant ultrasound and that's why he's not barking. if the dog has nowhere to run out of reach, I consider it to be abuse. I consider the product to be an absolute SCAM and I am surprised and sorry that Alza has included something like this in their range, while reducing my trust in other products. I would really like to explain how someone can sell this and still reject a claim with a clear conscience! Kor when I spend thousands a month on Alza. Save your money and your nerves and DON'T be like me.
