Works with Samsung UE55NU7172 TV (tested via SPDIF)
The output signal is relatively strong, both through the jack and through the cinch
Quality is OK (PCM)
Power supply works OK from TV USB port (classic adapter is of course part of the package)
IMHO: The input switch (SPDIF-coaxial) could be on the front so that the whole box can be fastened e. g. to the back of the TV
The package does not include a TOSLINK cable, but for approx. EUR 4 they are available in relatively high quality (' Vention Optical Fiber Toslink Audio Cable 1 m Black' )

when using digital out from Samsung TV, then cinch to Bose speakers I have a delay, I don't know why, I couldn't adjust it in the TV even though there is an option in the menu. I will be returning to Alza

The sound quality is at a super level ( AQ does not carry the bass component this does )
the sound is clear, undistorted and noise-free.
Power supply also possible from USB.
High quality metal design. FiiO is well known in the audio field I knew I would not regret it.
Optical cable (toslink) is not included,
When the TV is switched off, the converter does not switch off, only the data transfer light goes out.
Those cons are actually irrelevant.

Small, inexpensive on the level of a much more expensive sound system.
signal/sum ratio could be better
