iPhone15, the famous magsafe doesn't hold much. With a bit of a jolt, the phone leaves me in the direction of the tangent to the circle. I had a metal plate on my previous 12mini and a magnet on the dash. It held up wonderfully, I just had to forgo wireless charging

For my use, the holder is excellent. I often needed to take the phone off the holder and had to use both hands and repeatedly disconnect/connect the cable. Problem solved: ). The holder looks good and the magnets hold firmly (and I've been through some serious potholes). I find the charging speed sufficient. A cable will always be preferable for fast charging
