It does what it' s supposed to, unlike the cheaper type I bought earlier (which apparently had a poorly made microUSB connector). My goal was to be able to connect a digital camera to a Samsung J5 (2017) mobile phone in order to upload photos to the cloud while on vacation, and that has been achieved.
A thin and therefore probably not very durable cable.
