Excellent set for home chewing.
Focursite soundbars are great starters for home, mobile recording. Recommended by many professional musicians and producers from all over the world.

I needed a sound card that would work on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04). My PCIe card on Linux doesn't run (however, it doesn't run any power). As I found out, PCIe are not good sound cards at all and USB are the best (even the pros use it).
I needed a set that included both a microphone and the ability to play audio from a PC - this one does it perfectly.
The funny thing is that my PCIe soundcard (Sound Blaster Z) on Linux was able to recognize the microphone and use it, but the audio would not play. So I compared the microphone quality over the Sound Blaster Z and the Scarlett. Scarlett absolutely won. The difference in quality is about as big as the driving characteristics of a luxury Audi (Scarlett) and a Trabant (Sound Blaster Z)
There is a microphone sensitivity control on the panel (it doesn't have to be set via some clicker in the PC)
You have the option to use both the microphone and connect via 6.3 JACK for example el. guitar, or any other input to the sound system
You can control the input volume for 6.3 JACK
you can control the volume of the PC output
You can turn on "Direct Monitor" mode, which means you can hear what the microphone or 6.3jack is picking up immediately on the headphones.
The soundbar connects to the PC via USB-C, so it can be used on both NTB and Macbooks, on PC and on ANDROID (yes, it's not a typo, it really works on android - I have tested it)
The supplied headphones are very high quality (I compared it with Sony wh-1000XM3 2019 connected via 6.3 JACK [I had to buy an adapter, but it costs about 130k]. I found the supplied headphones to have better sound over the cable than the SONY, however I tried it on modern music, not classical like Beethoven etc. I don't listen to this genre)
It's more expensive, no question, but the benefits it brings are worth it
None
If you're looking for a soundbar that gives you a bonus in games (Sound Blaster supplies a mobile app with one of its PCIe soundbar lines that shows you on a "map" on your mobile where the enemy is based on how noisy the enemy is (for example, by not sneaking, but running)), don't look for those advantages here. But that doesn't make much sense to me personally (there has to be support for it from the manufacturer and it might not work properly).
