I'm not a photographer just interested in flashlights, so I bought it to try it out. Many years ago, I searched in vain for a flashlight to read books. This flashlight exceeds my expectations at the time in almost every way. The homogeneity of the light is great even without a diffusion filter, the intensity is adjustable, plus the colour of the light. The flashlight is pleasantly light and fits in the hand, plus it can be mounted on a tripod or other mount (there is a large selection of mounts for cross lasers). A full charge is quick, taking just over two hours. I don't use filters, to give you an idea, a scattering filter will reduce the brightness in the direct direction by about 35% and a honeycomb filter by 25-32% (some diodes are directly under the honeycomb baffle). There are disadvantages. The power button is annoyingly small, the waterproofing is almost zero (only on the side with magnets there are 44 ventilation holes of approx. 2 by 1 mm). The magnets are weak, recessed so that they don't touch the metal they are supposed to stick to, and as I found out I'm not the first person to drop a magnet. All it took was a fall from a metre high onto the carpet. The charge indicator is hard to read and highly inaccurate. However, it cleverly shows a full charge with the letters "OK". When charging, the light intensity is limited to a maximum of 70% in CCT and HSI modes. The remote control app is not in English. I've tried both the Android and Apple apps on tablets. It can be said that the app worked better on Apple but there were problems with both especially in special effects and music mixing. Be prepared for the app to require access to location and multimedia such as video and audio recording, photos, etc. Failure to allow it results in the application being stuck in the affected tasks. You need to pair the app for it to work. For Android, they recommend the following procedure. On the device with the app, first turn on Bluetooth then launch the app and go to "Device" settings. On the flashlight, perform a reset and go to "ID****" (the code of the flashlight). In the app, tap the plus "Add Device". You should see the name of your light. Tap the plus sign and wait for it to change to the done symbol. Then pop up by clicking on "Add Device" and then on the icon of your light. You will be shown a colored circle where you can adjust the color with your finger, you should see the change in the flashlight's glow. Uninstall pairing. Hold your finger on your light icon until you see a menu pop up and select "Delete Device". Confirm "Delete" and reboot the lamp. If you want to pair the flashlight with another device, or re-pair the flashlight after you have paired it with another device. There is no need to uninstall the flashlight. However, you must reboot the lamp, sometimes repeatedly. Then you proceed as for the first pairing. It's pretty similar on Apple, but the names are slightly different and the gestures depend on your settings. The communication between the app and the flashlight is pretty one-way. The app commands and the flashlight interprets the nonsensical instructions in its own way. Check the actual status on the flashlight display before you see it. You will not see the charge status of the flashlight in the app. Interesting is the function of adjusting the flashlight's glow color by absorbing the color from the photo or shot. However, the colour rendering is not completely faithful, perhaps only after professional tweaking. Also useful is the ability to turn the flashlight off (only the display is lit on the flashlight) and on. In spite of the above, the control via the app is quite comfortable and fun.
