The insoles are very comfortable and soft at the first step and walking in them is comfortable even when standing for long periods of time. The first days I was also excited by the intense smell that was felt in the whole area around me. Gradually, though, the intensity decreased and after less than a week it can only be felt directly from the shoe, but even after two weeks of daily wear, the insoles still smell clean, which is a plus. ​But I have a major reservation about thermoregulation. The inserts are extremely warm. If you plan on wearing them outside in the cold, they'll probably be great, but as a work liner for indoors where the temperature is stable (and hot in the summer), they're a complete outlier. It acts as a strong heating agent in the shoe, which is quite unpleasant after a few hours at work. ​Important advice on size: I definitely recommend not to cut the inserts blindly according to the printed scale on the underside. I'm a size 45, but when I cut the insole according to the size 46 crease, it fit the shoe exactly. If I cut straight to 45, it would be small in the shoe and would "travel". It is best to take the old original insole from the shoe, attach it as a template and cut according to it.
