I don't have much experience with this saddle yet, but after three hours of "seat planing" on the bike, it didn't hurt that much. I've already got enough bruised sit bones, so I guess my information won't be directional for someone starting out after a hiatus. I've been looking for a cheap saddle for a winterizer and this is sufficient. Because after the crash I destroyed the original one and carrying a saddle for three thousand seemed like a debauchery.
It is sufficient for someone who has a rather tight sitting area.
