Even after more than a month of use, I am unable to determine if this product actually works, I am leaning more towards non-functionality. I placed it in the basement of the cottage, so that it was actually pointed into the open space and basically directly at the apple crate. The apples got nibbled within three days, so I set traps. I caught 2 mice in the traps in succession, regardless of this scarecrow. And it was placed there as a precaution for a few weeks before I stored the apples there.

I bought the scarecrow for my mouse hut, after a week it is quiet, the dog (Hungarian Pointer) is lying close to the scarecrow and has no trauma from it: -) It is loud, but we only turn it on in our absence.
