We had been plagued by martens in the roof insulation for a long time and I thought I would never get rid of them. I tried another scarecrow, but it didn't do much good and the martens were still rampaging under the roof. I resisted this product from Format1 for a long time because they have a horrible ad that irritated me every time it popped up on the internet. In the end, out of desperation, I ordered it and it seems that the martens really ran away after about 14 days. At least I haven't heard them since. I use the scarecrow with a mains power supply and when it is in the loft I don't know about it and hopefully neither do the cats. Without batteries it is quite light and my tendency to tip over easily. I hope he really chased the martens away and they won't come back, because it was a struggle.

It's hard to say how it works and if it scares the vermin? I haven't seen a marten or a mouse since I've had it in the car. And the neighbor's cat that used to walk under my car with. It's gone, too.

I didn't manage to finish the repair of the cottage before winter, so I at least put 2 of these scarecrows in there, so that mice wouldn't hibernate in my bed. And so far there is no trace of them (otherwise they usually hid in the attic and in the corridor and wherever they could squeeze through a hole). That it works has been verified by my daughter, who hears the whistling and confirms that it is annoying.

After a few days of use, it can be said that the repeller clearly works against stingrays in the cottage.
For power supply from the mains adapter I would welcome a classic DC connector (e.g. 2.1mm). Not the 3.5mm jack, which is not commonly used for power anywhere. It strikes me as an attempt by the manufacturer to force the ignorant customer to buy only their overpriced adapter/charger.

They use the audio connector for power! Otherwise, the price of the adapter is absolutely outrageous. It can be bought as a replacement for a third of the price.
