sharpness, sharpness (it should be lost at the edges, but personally I have to want to find the flaw there), sufficient zoom range without big differences in image quality
large, easy to use
could withstand something (dust and moisture resistance, robust construction)
good stabilization, can be "held" for longer times
tried: snapshots (in good lighting and in the dark), landscapes, outdoor subjects, shooting in backlight, portraits outdoors and indoors, product photography (only a test on composition without lighting) - all OK, if there was any shortcoming, it was on my side
easy manual focusing
the weight is not small, heavier than the body, but it can still be worn on the clip even in harsher environments (but the backpack can now hold one less lens)
I haven't tried night shooting, macro or anything in heavy motion (so I can't judge the speed and quality of autofocus in more demanding conditions)
big, which can be a problem in some situations (it's no longer a pocket setup)
necessity to buy new filters, as again with the new lens a different thread
