Let's see how long the plastic tightening handle lasts
You need a lot of finger strength for a thorough tightening due to the short lever
Tightening the bolt only works when you pull the tightening lever "out" of the grip (not in the loose position or when pushed in). The instructions are silent on this detail and it didn't take much and I went to return the carriers saying they didn't work.
Fit the bottom groove cover at least mostly (on the middle of the carrier) before putting the carriers on the roof. The rubber doesn't squeeze into the groove easily (by definition).
