I think the fan is suitable for normal use. We were looking for a fan for the bedroom and this one, although not overly noisy, its operation was audible in the silence and I personally found it disturbing, so I would have preferred another, rather larger one. in my experience they make more minor noise, obviously on the first program.

I know it's one of the cheaper ones, but there are others for a similar price that aren't as crap as this one, my advice is - buy one just as expensive, but definitely different
