Against the SP-2020, they sound a lot worse. No HiFi, but sufficient for a computer.
Considering what they offer, they're pretty expensive.
I don't know where Alza got the frequency range of 20 Hz - 20 kHz. The manufacturer states 65 Hz - 20 kHz. Without a tolerance band, it is practically worthless anyway.
If they were a grand, I'd recommend them.
The middle acoustic transducer is in the box for show. It doesn't even work as a passive membrane. Even at higher volumes, it doesn't budge.

The only thing I wanted these boxes to do was to make passable sound, the reality of the product was very disappointing
They look good
They have the weight and material of a proper crate
More or less everything essential The sound quality is humiliating, the boxes have loud noise, the sound is unbalanced very bassy, the fact that the bottom driver is playing mainly makes the sound "as if from the floor", the midrange driver as if it were not, the treble and bass control does not change anything
It is the noise that makes it unlistenable, my ears literally hurt, any long-term listening (more than 10 minutes) impossible

EQ for bass and treble
They are not three-way, only the bass and treble speakers play. Would-be center speaker is just a so-called rather to the eye.
The sound is not so distinctive, but for ordinary listening it seems to be good.
Too much bass (you can tweak the EQ, but still)
