I don't know why sales of the -1.5 diopter version ended, but the review might help someone with a different diopter value. I bought the glasses as a first aid after I accidentally ruined my previous ones over the weekend and needed the glasses badly. For distance diopters, the PD (pupil centre distance) is important and is not indicated on the product. Anyway, I figured I'd give it a try for the money and so far I'm very satisfied. I can just see and so far no ailments in sharpness just because of PD. The manufacturer probably used some average PD value of around 62 mm (I'm just guessing). The description states that the frames are plastic. It's not, they're metal. The overall workmanship in the price-quality ratio is good beyond expectations. I realize they won't be immortal, but like I said, it was first aid before I get new glasses. I hope they don't fall apart in a week.
