I was expecting to get a new digital clock with a few extra bits of information over my old clock. The first disappointment came with the unboxing of the metrostanice, a scratched display. Well what if it lights up you can't see it so I tried it, another thing I didn't expect was that even if you put batteries in the weather station it doesn't light up (after pressing the button for 10s) and if you want to have it on the wall at eye level you don't want the cable hanging all over the wall to the socket. But when it also shows the bad outside temperature it was enough for me, I admit that I didn't have it in the optimal place but in a block of flats it is hard to put it in a place that is "covered with a draft". I came back...

Scratched display
It was showing the wrong temperature (it is difficult to find the optimal place for the sensor in a block of flats)
It only lights up when it is connected to the network and when it is not lit nothing is visible
