Nice design. I believe it is also functional. Hopefully he won't be needed.
The sensors have a lifetime of 10 years FROM manufacture. My device was made about 1.5 years before I bought it, so it will stop working in about 8.5 years. I wouldn't worry about a few months but 1,5 years is enough. It would be good to indicate at least the year of manufacture for such goods with a limited lifetime.
You need to create a Nest account and if you want the alarm to work on another person's mobile phone, you need a Google home account.

Always warns before the alarm is activated (speaks English)
Instructions are not even in AJ, must be downloaded on the web
Speaks in FR at first when switched on, language can only be switched after a few hours in the app
