I don't know if I have a defective piece, but this antenna is unusable for most reception conditions in the Czech Republic. The previous type of this antenna without amplifier was great, I personally used it several times for reception near transmitters. This type "improved" by an amplifier that amplifies everything from about 350 MHz to about 800 MHz by tens of dB is really useless. Any usable TV signal is completely lost in the amplified noise. You're better off with a Greentek UVR-AV565 or a piece of wire.

In the product description it would have been good to mention one of the very important information, which unfortunately I did not know, that it will work at a maximum distance of 15km from the transmitter. It is stated on the box and in the instructions, which I unfortunately read at home.

Bad contact at the antenna output. When trying to tighten the coaxial cable so that the contact is better, the output is pulled down and the cable is twisted and it is not even possible to disconnect the cable.
