When installing Linux you need to disable Secure boot, I didn't find it there on the first try (secure boot was obviously still on even though the OS type "Other OS" was already preselected), but it should be disableableable somewhere in the Key Management section:

Alza, where I bought the computer, refunded my money, so thumbs up, but I won't be buying it again after this experience.
I recommend you go get the computer with your car, the box is almost as big as a washing machine.

Unfortunately my piece was defective, after attempting to install the OS, several reboots and shutdowns, the CPU fan failed (on startup the message "CPU Fan Error! ", the CPU temperature immediately rose to some 50 °C, the BIOS stopped displaying the RPM of the fan sensor)
