Good laptop at a reasonable price for home use. HP should really forgive itself for installing bloatware.

Incredible amount of demo and test apps that have installed with Windows. This annoyed me a lot, I spent an hour uninstalling various demos and trial versions.
Display viewing angles are not as good as IPS, but better than TN
It takes several hours to charge if it is running at the same time.
The letters on the silver keyboard are hard to read

standard features such as key backlighting are not missing
I was surprised at how loud the built-in fan is when the CPU is properly loaded, but it doesn't need cooling during normal operation, so it's noiseless
