Unless the manufacturer screws up, as often happens, and tears the product down, the product serves as expected. Only twice in 25 years have I bought remanufactured cartridges - once to save money, the second time because I had them forced on me - and it always sucked. Only originals belong in printers.
And I'm gonna try a question, too: you don't take back empty cartridges? I usually wait for bulk waste collection.
