I have already written a review on another HP Zbook Power and Firefly series. After plugging in both of them, the message "battery error, must be replaced" appeared. I contacted HP service, where I was given advice like try to format the battery, don't test the battery using HP Support Assistant, but via BIOS (BIOS eventually reported the same error) etc., but I guess no customer really wants to deal with this with a day old laptop, plus risk a fire if the battery was really defective and send a new laptop to the service. I decided to make one more attempt and buy the HP ProBook 460 G11 series in the hope that everything will be fine. Price-wise, this laptop is 20000Kč lower, it has integrated Intel arc graphics, which is not a hindrance for me in the final, the body is all-metal and even has a LAN port, the touchpad is nicely centered and not like the first purchased laptop, when it sat on the left side, but on the right gap of 1 mm. It doesn't have an SD card reader, but you can buy a nicely made card reader as a USB module on Alza, so it's perfectly fine. But back to the main thing, unfortunately, this laptop also reported a battery error after starting up, which really pissed me off. But this time I decided to search a little longer, search more thoroughly in the AJ discussions and finally success, it was necessary to uninstall the pre-installed HP Support Assistant application, let the BIOS upgrade take place twice, then reinstall the application and see, the battery is fine. I've been testing for a week and everything is faultless. Looks like this solution will be the same for the two laptops I was forced to return, too bad. Just to conclude, a big thank you to Alza and the staff in Pilsen at the store, they were helpful and understood that with a laptop for fifty, the customer wants a product that works at the first time.
