After experiencing a trouble-free HP 910 network multifunction that worked fine the first time, we purchased the HP 530. We expected that it would also be problem free and cheaper to print. It is cheaper to print because no one prints on it due to network traffic problems: -)

If you want to use the printer as a network printer, be prepared for a long exploration of blind alleys
Scanning can only be done via HP SMART software and an account must be created. You are unable to verify which servers the scan travels to before it reaches you.

It is long and complicated to install, it is slow - system, etc. And especially after two pages of printing, after updating the software and firmware, it started continuously making unpleasant intermittent “beeps“. Apparently, I' m not the only one who has a problem with this, there is talk about it on the net, but there is no solution. We advertise. Just complications and a waste of time

Very complicated installation, the internal part could not be removed, then a failure, etc.

slow system - it takes a long time to start up and generally reacts slowly
after a few minutes of use and setup, the printer started to make a squealing, unsteady sound - it can' t be stopped. I'll file a complaint. It is written on the Internet that other models do it and no one has solved it.
