I use as a replacement for an older type of docking station when the laptop no longer has a ready connection in the chassis - connectors. I need to run 2 monitors. If your laptop has a usb c connector, you can use.

The docking station is definitely awesome and high quality. You can read on the internet that it is compatible with Mac OS thanks to Thunderbolt. However, the box says in small print that the manufacturer does not guarantee the functionality of the audio drivers on Mac OS devices.
