A huge leap compared to Vive pro 1
Seamless enemy recognition in Onward. Seamless readability of alarms at IL2 BOS even during doghfight when one is looking at the cockpit top. Ideal to use with Valve index drivers. The whole headset is very good except for the vive console app which is used to install drivers. Because of this app you can't set fixed fps in STEAMVR like on PRO 1.
My system: R7 5800x, RX 6900XT, 16GB RAM, Asus B450f gaming, Asus Strix 1000w power supply. Even with such a PC at IL2 BOS at native resolution you only get 60fps when flying over the ground and at 3km+ 110/120fps at hight setup and grass and trees low on wings of liberty servers
The big sweet spot
Image sharpness even at the very bottom of the lens
Very good black imaging even considering that the headset uses an LCD screen (better than HP reverb G2)
